7. SAHARA MARITIME UK
Sahara Maritime UK is an international ship management company specializing in the management of Cape-size, Panamax and Handy-size Bulk Carriers, Chemical Tankers, LPG / LNG Tankers, Container Ships and Pure Car (Truck) Carriers. It differs from many other ship management companies in that it offers a complete package of management services, from the building and purchase of a vessel through to crewing, operating, maintenance, repair, insurance, legal services, supply and assisting the owners in finding employment for their vessels.
In September 2001 Sahara Maritime became one of the first ship managers to achieve compliance and certification for ISO14001 Environmental Management System. It operates a training programme onboard and ashore under the direction of an office based training manage. It has its own cadet training programme with a yearly intake of cadets in excess of 100. The candidates where initially mainly from Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Russia and India, was expanded to include UK cadets as from 2001.
8. SAHARA GAS LTD UK
SAHARA GAS LTD UK is the shipping company transporting liquefied gases, such as butane, propane, anhydrous ammonia and petrochemicals. Its main activity is the ownership and operation of a fleet of modern gas carriers. Most are vessels from 22,000 - 40,000 m3 owned or under commercial management. Its portfolio includes very large gas carriers (VLGC), semi-refrigerated vessels and pressurised vessels.
Based in Luxembourg, the "Sahara Gaz International" branch delivers 1.5 million tonnes of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) per month in collaboration with the Belgian transporter EXMAR NB. In addition to supplying the ships for the transport of these products, Sahara Gaz International carries out studies and manages the commercial, technical and administrative activities of the industry.
9. SAHARA CONSTRUCTION UK
In 2001, "Sahara Construction" turned the consortium as a key construction partner in sectors, such as stadiums, airports, schools and hospitals. It handled the construction and start-up of several oil refineries with different capacities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Indonesia, Pakistan, Ghana. It also handled several contracts with Yemen, Sudan, China, Russia, Bulgaria, ans it built a couple of power plants of 1000 Mw in Ghana on the basis of B.O.T.
It is the main partner in the "Thames Gateway project", which has been described as "a veritable 'urban renaissance' of East Greater London", downstream from Canary Wharf. The project included the construction of a new airport for a new Olympic city, road and rail access, a terminal for 20 maritime containers, hotels, offices with soundproof conference centers, four hypermarkets, housing, a water desalination plant and a fresh water reservoir, new industrial unit and a detention complex and finally, Ebbsfleet, the British station of the international Eurostars which connect France and Belgium and England since November 2007.

The Sahara Group UK created EADNVALE S.A in the eighties to implement its projects. It led the negotiations with the government of Ghana, the Turkish company AGE, specialized in turnkey construction, and various European financial organizations to release 927 million U$D to build 6 hospitals in Ghana.
In 2007, it led the agreement with GEOQUIP, a British company which then became the leader in perimeter and territorial security solution in the Middle East.
More recently, the Saudi Arabia Railway Organization invited the Sahara Group UK among the acceptable groups to finance, build and operate the Jeddah – Macca – Medina rail link, whose project is drawn by this branch of the consortium.
