Sudan 

Sudan has been occupied for over 60,000 years, but Sudanese people would only have settled for 10,000 years. Its  most prestigious dynasties fought the Egyptian, the  Byzantine and the British occupation.  It now has 48 million citizens

In 2023, a "war of the generals' erupted by fighting between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. It  killed 15,000 people.  It closed 10,400 schools, (54% of the schools in Sudan), throwing nearly 19 million children onto the streets, of which around 12 million need urgent humanitarian assistance, and 4.4 million were "internally displaced".   They suffer from shortages of food, clean water, medicines,  limited communications and electricity.
