Albania

Albania is very advanced as regards as child protection.  It is  a world leader in art therapy, thanks  to Jona Dividi, an artist who founded QENDRA TIRANA ART. She has met these children, as they came back from hell, many of them from Holland. She is one of the first who immediately realised how to reach their hearts through art.  Smart boarding schools with such an art therapy section will be an example for our teachers around the world. .  

A brilliant National Study on Children in Street Situation in Albania in 2014 showed that the Albanian society has been affected by the increasing frequency of children in a ‘street situation since the 90’, thus as from the dissolution of USSR. It showed that 581 out of 782 children belong to the Roma and Egyptian communities.  Albania thus needs a circus school, as Roma children have a incomparable talent in the domain.
