THE HAWAS FOUNDATION PLANS TO BUILD 2.500 BOARDING SCHOOLS, DAY CENTERS AND NURSERIES FOR THE REHABILITATION OR THE RELEIF OF THE 2.2 MILLION EGYPTIAN CHILDREN HOMELESS, OR WHO SUFFERS FROM A FORM OF DISABILITY, AS THE STARTING POINT OF A WORLDWIDE PROGRAM. 

A group of Egyptian researchers of the Borg El Arab rehabilitation center, gathered different scientific and practical studies around several fields of education, rehabilitation, therapeutic compatibility and sports in all specialties, within a nationwide program to provide a psychological, organic, cultural, social and environmental comfort to the 2.2 million Egyptian children who suffers from a form of disability.  


The program includes building a network of 2.500 boarding schools, day centers, nurseries, playgrounds, training and educational centers across Egypt. It also includes the training of the teachers and caretakers to help detecting  the causes that lead to the emergence of the problem, whether psychological, physical or indeterminable issues, such as autism. 

PROGRAM

01. Building day care centers, nurseries, boarding schools,

02. Occupational and sensory therapy, sports recreation,  

03. Clinical intervention center tailoring a special program for each case, using modern technology and innovative programs successfully used abroad

04. Training and education center holding courses on the latest intervention systems to train specialists, teachers and caretakers 

05. Conduct seminars, training courses and conferences to exchange experiences, and seek help from external expertise, for professionals and for families  to teach and train them on how to deal with their children.

06. Local cooperation and protocol with Alexandria University and specialized institutes and colleges to train students, to deal with cases such as faculties of special education, kindergartens, physical education and science, practically and theoretically, around disability and Fine Arts, Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods, Arts and Education, the College of Disability Sciences, and other related departments 

07. Cooperating with local and international federations to care for people of determination in all disciplines, not just sports
