Smart villages have farms to grow crops and to raise livestock and poultry, as a mean to become self-sustainable and provide the children one of its nature-friendly teaching.     

BUILD A FARM COST

Raising cows for milk to bottle and sell requests a dairy barn. The cost of a cow is $-1.500 and the cost of a 300m2 barn is of $-150.000.  

Raising chickens and selling the eggs requires a poultry house and three square feet per chicken.   The start-up cost of a large scale poultry farm, whose income can range from 1.9 million to 10 million dollars per year, by exporting the finished products to both domestic and international markets, is close to $2 million.
